Performance Analysis-of MLD in a MIMO Antenna System

Conducted a performance analysis of Maximum Likelihood Detection (MLD) over flat fading channels in WIRELESS multiple input–multiple output (MIMO) systems. Developed tight union bound and asymptotic bound on Symbol Error Rate (SER) for MIMO configurations with 2-D constellations, showcasing the quantitative performance of MLD. Extended the approach to derive pairwise symbol error probability for evaluating pairwise block error probability of MLD in coded systems, demonstrating the effectiveness and scalability of the proposed methodology.
